The Merchant's Daughter by Melanie Dickerson
This was my second Melanie Dickerson read. I really liked Annabel and her striving to read the Bible. Lord le Wyse was a very interesting character. I thought Baliff Tom was an exciting touch and added kind of a plot twist?..... This book had no bad things in it and no gay/lesbian characters. Melanie Dickerson is a clean writer and has a really unique way to write. These books are retellings of fairytales. This particular book was a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. When I got to the part where Lord le Wyse let her read the Bible I was like ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried
to convince my sister, Abigail, who actually has a blog of her own called @christianfaith.The cover for this is a beautiful cover. It took me forever to see the man in the mirror in this cover. My other sister recommended this book series to me and I'm glad I tried it.
My Rating:⭐⭐⭐ and a 1/2 star
