Black Beauty by Anna Sewell https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=YPm6pDXu&id=84B002A8CB0FF852333015D5F50139129D5A00FF&thid=OIP.YPm6pDXuR1RimwVUckbQbADKEs&mediaurl=https%3a%2f%2ftheeternalhobby.files.wordpress.com%2f2015%2f05%2fblack-beauty-1.jpg&exph=1521&expw=1029&q=black+beauty&simid=608046137160436085&selectedIndex=0&ajaxhist=0 This book is a staple for all horse lovers!!!!! I love how this was told in a horse's POV. Black Beauty was an awesome horse. He was very strong, determined, gentle, and did every thing his owner said. The last couple of chapters did drag ,but if you love horses as much as I do, you should pull through it easily. This book was a good read for preteen horse lovers. This also is a good read if you like old English time, like way back in 1877. Rating

Winning Balance by Shawn Johnson https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=I2W17Ftj&id=FA9D6720C20A278A6CB9C7CC53A4AD38AA5A91DB&thid=OIP.I2W17FtjBwiFf_bzezPjvQHaLK&mediaurl=https%3a%2f%2fd.gr-assets.com%2fbooks%2f1338826995l%2f14331090.jpg&exph=452&expw=300&q=winning+balance&simid=607995031374138475&selectedIndex=0&ajaxhist=0 This was an okay read. I honestly got confused with all the names and places in this book. I've always been interested in the gymnastics world and Shawn Johnson is one of my favorite gymnasts. I love how strong and committed she is to the sport. This book was a quick read if you are a quick reader, but honestly it kind of drug on a little bit. There was no romance in this book so it was a clean read. I love how she was a Christian and like me wanted to now more about Jesus. Also like me she was not ashamed to show her Christian faith.

Hearts of Fire by VOM [Voice Of The Martyrs] and Gracia Burnham I really enjoyed this book! I loved Adel and her story. This book was an inspiring read. How these women got tortured for Christ really spoke to me. Tara was also a great character. Her dad beat her all because she was caught with a Bible. These women had great faith and I admired them so much. There were a few words in it that were negative, but overall it was a good Christian read if you're a Christian girl. This book was also a great faith builder. It showed how God would come through for you no matter what.

This was my second Melanie Dickerson read. I really liked Annabel and her striving to read the Bible. Lord le Wyse was a very interesting character. I thought Baliff Tom was an exciting touch and added kind of a plot twist?..... This book had no bad things in it and no gay/lesbian characters. Melanie Dickerson is a clean writer and has a really unique way to write. These books are retellings of fairytales. This particular book was a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. When I got to the part where Lord le Wyse let her read the Bible I was like ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to convince my sister, Abigail, who actually has a blog of her own called @christianfaith.The cover for this is a beautiful cover. It took me forever to see the man in the mirror in this cover. My other sister recommended this book series to me and I'm glad I tried it. My Rating:⭐⭐⭐ and a 1/2 star LOVE YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, guys! My name is Lydia Sneed. This is my first blog post ever. I've wanted to have a blog for years and I finally got the opportunity to. The purpose of this blog is to review books. I love reviewing books and writing my opinion on them. I'm going to be posting on Monday and Thursday. This blog will have books from authors like Melanie Dickerson, MaryLu Tyndall, Erin Hunter, Lynette Eason, Alex Flinn, C.S Lewis, Jody Hedlund, and many others. I am also a Christian and will be reviewing Christian books as well as posting my Christian faith. God has blessed me so much and I am thankful to be on this journey with Him as well as my viewers.
